The "K-Traditional Drawing and Painting" class immerses students in the rich heritage of Korean art, focusing on the depiction of animals and nature in a traditional Korean style. "Art and Design Beyond the Limit" is an immersive exploration of diverse art, design, DIY, and craft processes. Students will delve into a wide range of art mediums, including drawing, watercolors, pastels, and acrylics, while also learning innovative ways to repurpose waste materials such as paper, cardboard, wood, glass, plastics, metals, and rubber into unique works of art. This course offers a dynamic platform for creative experimentation and expression, pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms to unleash unlimited artistic potential.

Porcelain Art and Painting (FADP0909)

Description
In this course, participants will learn how to use China paints and add color and design to ceramics. Participants will learn about the materials and processes, what is needed for a China painting kit, and where to purchase supplies. The use of brushes, how to mix and apply the paints, an overview of pen work, and how to fire the works will all be covered. Participants will gain a basic knowledge of what supplies are needed and be comfortable enough to make up a pallet and start painting at home.

Participants will understand how to use glaze china paints and mediums. Participants will develop their drawing skills and technique, which will lead to making their own creative, unique, and one-and-only ceramic objects.

Applied Calligraphy (FADP0921)

"Applied Calligraphy" enhances practical skills and personal hobbies through handwriting. Using just a pen, students explore versatile applications such as note-taking, postcards, and gifting. Techniques like watercolor painting and stamp making are also covered to enrich handwriting.

Emphasis will be placed on independent project planning, drawing from observation, and cultivating disciplined work habits. DIY - Candle Crafts (FASP0902)
Description
Students will explore a variety of techniques and materials to create unique and personalized candles. In the first half of the course, participants will delve into the basics of candle making, starting with soy candles and progressing to more intricate designs such as coffee candles and winter-themed candles. Students will learn about different types of wax, molds, and colorants to craft candles that reflect their individual style and creativity.

Outcomes
Master various candle making techniques, explore diverse designs including heart-shaped and marble-effect candles, develop skills in color mixing and scent selection, and create personalized handmade candles suitable for gifting or personal use.

"DIY Soap Crafts" is a practical class where students explore soap making using natural ingredients and creative techniques. Each week, students will learn a new soap recipe, from oat and honey to gemstone scrubs, experimenting with ingredients like coffee beans, green tea powder, and salt. By course end, students will master soap crafting fundamentals and have a collection of unique, handmade soaps.

Independent Study (INDP0101)
Description
The "Independent Study" class offers students the opportunity for self-directed exploration and creativity. Designed as a project-based course, students have the freedom to pursue their own artistic vision within the realms of Design, Fine Arts, or Computer-related subjects. Throughout the class, students will choose and develop a project progressively, posting their work-in-progress over a specified period. Attendance for each project is contingent upon the submission of weekly work, fostering accountability and dedication to the creative process.
